NORCO, Calif. -- With plenty of great views off the tee, natural vegetation, dry streams and boulder outcroppings throughout the course, Hidden Valley Golf Club in Riverside County is one of southern California's most picturesque courses.
Playing 6,860 yards from the back tees, this Casey O'Callaghan design features plenty of elevated tees, a few blind shots and great views of the surrounding mountains, which influence the shapes of the holes. A few of the tee shots require hitting over some natural areas, but there are five sets of tees, including the forward tees at 4,698 yards, which eliminate the carries.
Hidden Valley G.C. also has excellent practice facilities, a 15,000-square-foot clubhouse with golf shop, dining at the Split Rock Grill and great views of the course. Lessons are also available from its PGA staff.
