Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club

Whitehawk Ranch Golf Club brings nature to all. This golf course in the little town of Clio in the shadow of Lake Tahoe and Reno lets its scenery do the big talking. Parts of the course, particularly the first six holes, have wide-open views that stretch all the way to the mountains. Other parts are completely surrounded by towering trees, creating the effect that golfers are shooting in a forest theater.

Creeks cut through several fairways. There are two fun, go-for-it short par 4s on the front nine and several hold-on holes where the greens sway and buckle on the back nine. The clubhouse is relatively low-key and the staff sets a very relaxed tone.
