Empire Lakes Golf Course

I used to play this course a lot! The the tournament left and the course has been going downhill for a long time!! I play every week and try to avoid this place. I couldn't as Sierra had a tournament and wanted an early time. This was the closest. No notice that the greens were under repair...5 of them aren't even playable as they are burnt out and sanded. Marked GUR...Nope! Temp green...Nope! Really...2 guys that joined our 3, since play was so slow told us they paid $80? Sierra is cheaper, the course is always in better shape, they have a clubhouse and the cart goes out every weekend!

About 40% of greens are bad. Some sort of grass disease and you cannot putt.

Very poor greens despite beautiful fairways.. Be prepared to shoot 4 green shots as the grass is long and the ball stops with numerous bald spots..

This course is done. It is the worst course in the Inland Empire by far. The staffs unfriendliness was over shadowed by the great course that once was. The greens here are the worst I have ever seen any where. I can not recommend this course to anyone at all.

Golf conditions were poor, a majority of the holes were circled due to lack of maintenance.

The putting greens are terrible, who ever take cares of it must be sleeping. They need to fix it. I paid cheap to play here for $27 but I can go someplace else and they have better putting green. . . I played here few years ago with friend and it was nice. Don't know what happen to the gold course. And people in front of us are terrible they were looking for their balls. . 6hours is too long.

The course is in terrible shape, the greens are mostly unplayable and the entire course seems to need some facelifting

This course features blind shots (including the opening tee shot), often into tight areas or areas that are visually deceptive, and there are not signs or other assistance to golfers to help them choose the correct line. Accordingly, you wind up hitting good shots into trouble. Also, when I played (August 2015), the greens were in terrible condition due to what looked like some kind of disease. Numerous bald patches and terrible bumps made putting real guesswork at best. In its present condition, I wouldn't recommend playing here.

First time playing the course. I found the course to be challenging, yet fun. Conditions were excellent. I definitely plan to return. Not a course for a beginner however.

The overall layout of the course is challenging and was in great shape. However several of the greens had large dead patches of grass in them. It was difficult to keep your ball on line putting through the dead spots.I recommend only playing this course at a discounted rate due to the conditions of the greens.

Short but challenging course. If you get off the fairway the conditions are pretty rough. Look at each hole routing to make sure you know what to hit off the tees, its not obvious the first time out. A lot of sand traps in the middle of fairways, and they were not consistent at all.

Great course, especially with the golfnow price. Course seems to be quite open, if you can handle joining other people when you play. Great condition for being in a drought. I will continue to play this course in the future.

This is the the first time I played here in two years. I'm glad the tall heavy set guy with no personality wasn't there. I hope he's not there anymore. That's the resin I haven't been back. But, the starter today was friendly. I've always enjoyed this course layout and the green and fairway were very good compared to San Dimas Canyon GC. I received incorrect information from a few people letting me know that this place will be gone and they're letting it go. No signs of this at all!! I had a great te and will be back soon or I'm playing every week here!!!

I'd like the design but, a when goes in to the rough hard to find golf ball. Otherwise, challenging from black tee box. better to accurate shots.!

This is a nice course BUT my cart ran out of juice about the 11th tee and I called the pro shop but they were gone for the day I just feel someone should be checking the course when everyone else goes home for the day just in case this happens. I had to be pushed by another cart the rest of the way which took the fun out of playing

Not a high end course but it's nice to play.

Driving range, and other practice areas. Pro shop and clubhouse nothing great.

Kevin Na plays here lots apparently. He was there twice while I was playing.

I haven't played this course for 7 years. It's in really good shape. Greens very nice and receptive. Fairways in good condition. (There's a drought going on?) Would play this again when I'm in the area. Only drawback are the bunkers. Not sand, more dirt/gravel like.

This was a very nice course hidden in an unexpected area of town. This was my first time here and over all it's a great course. The pros, great over all course condition, staff and golfers were all very nice, lots of challenges on every hole for every level player. The cons, kind of pricy, the pace of play was a lil slow, some of the tee boxes were unlevel and needed some work, practice greens were very rough, no beverage cart and I didn't know that I could call for a delivery of food or drinks by using call boxes until I read other review. I will make my way back to challenge my game at this course again but not without golf now.
