NEEDS HELP.
The course seems to lack money and needs some new investors. No real club house .Fairways in decent shape but rough sort of extreme .The place just feels run down especialy if you compare it to its neighbor Rooster Run.The driving and chiping green are excellent although..I hope this place can come back like it used to be about ten years ago.Fair value for the price.
friendly staff, greens in good condition.some fairways rsgged
Course needs more maintenance.Would be nice if
bar/restaurant were open
good course, challenging but enjoyable
Adobe Creek is challenging course to play, especially if a player can't keep their shots straight. some of the fairways are narrow and the rough is thick and bushy. Good golfers priobably have little trouble here, but the average player may struggle a little.
the course is in good shape over all
We enjoyed playing the course but the sand traps need attention too little sand and lots of rocks. .....other than that....the course played very well.
What happened?
So I played Adobe on 5/25 and it was way better than I had ever remembered - we were all raving about it on the way home in the car.
Sadly, yesterday was the same old Adobe; tattered tee boxes, slanted tee boxes, fairways not well kept and greens were just ok.
For those of us who are golf purist and single digits players we know Adobe generally is a good value (not the hardest course in the world but usually fun) - yesterday I shot what I usually do at Adobe but was really bummed to hit the ball off of awful tee boxes and terrible fairways....$60 bucks on golfnow was NOT worth it not even close - 3 players All 3 said the course really went downhill in the last 6 weeks...
Awesome
Great course. Very nice staff, very forgiving fairways. Would go again In a heartbeat
adobe is in great shape
we started out at 3:00 in the afternoon and by 6:30 we had played 27 holes. It had rained earlier in the day so the course was wide open and in great shape
course in good shape,4hr round, good price
course in good shape 4hr round, good price,as good as most courses in area
Good value
The greens are in excellent condition. Unfortunately some of the traps are mud.
The course is nice except for the seventh which should be rerouted, changed or removed.
You must carefully watch where your ball goes because it's a links course with little markers and it's hard to find your ball in the rough.
Overall I enjoyed playing there and it's a good value.
well maintain course
The course is challenging enough to have a good round of golf.
Staffs are friendly.
Foursome that are walking tend to slow down pace of play.
Course needs work
I heard this course was better now but the original club house and proshop are closed. Now the course is run through a small shack.
The conditions are shoddy on the fairways, the traps are muddy clay with little sand to be found. The greens on the back nine seem to be in better condition. There is no food available.
I noticed the Golf now hot deal price to be only a dollar less than the regular senior price.
Adobe... they weren't kidding...
You're better off missing the fairway on every hole so you can hit from the rough because the fairways are like hitting off concrete. There were a few bad dry spots I noticed but overall it was pretty green.
The greens had just been aerated but you can't knock them for that, it's part of maintenance.
My biggest complaint would be the bunkers. Thankfully I only ended up in one all day but if I knew it was only a 1/2 inch of sand sprinkled on top of rock hard clay I probably would have tried to pick it clean instead of assuming I had some depth to play with.
Overall it's a nice looking course... but since Rooster Run is right down the street I don't think I'll ever be going back.
Great Value
It is hard to beat the value Adobe Creek offers. I was able to book a morning tee time for $33 on a Friday. The course is in great shape. The greens are perfect. I had doubts about the course since it closed a couple of year ago. However, I think it is in better shape now than it was back when it closed. It is a shame the restaurant/bar is defunct... but that does not change the golf. The course is interesting and begs you to come back. Adobe Creek is not a 5 star kinda place due to the lack of amenities. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. There is an adequate driving range and putting green.
The course was in excellent shape; fast greens
We had a great day on the course, great course conditions and the weather was perfect.
great greens
need to have marshall to speed up the play. The 4 some in front of us had two holes clear in front of them.
I really enjoy playing this course.
I love playing at Adobe Creek. It is spread out and forgiving and fun to play. The price on Golf Now is fantastic, I would not be able to play as often if it were not for the Hot Deals. Thank you
I really enjoy this course except for the freezing cold afternoon wind.
This is a fun and challenging course for me, but the afternoon winds make it feel like you're playing on the edge of the bay.
Very Nice Course
Staff were friendy.
Course was good shape.
Greens were very nice.
Play was slow for a Friday morning.
