Adobe Creek Golf Course

This is great for a local municipal course. Tee boxes are in pretty good shape and each hole has its own unique challenges. One thing that never changes is elevated greens. Every green is 8 - 15 feet elevated from the fairway. So if you have an ACE chip shot, this course will do you well.

A fun course. You have to know it well to play it well. Can challenge even the best players. In the kind of weather we had, it was a terrific day. Hopefully they are able to resurrect the pro shop and restaurant in the near future, and it will be an ideal destination. Consistently good conditions, and a well designed driving range.

This is a very interesting course on rolling terrain, its real rolling terrain, even on fairways, overall, the course offer very interesting layout, a little intimidate for first timer, simple lots of semi blind shot, and you need think about shot placement. the bad thing about the course now is that its not in good condition, both fairways and greens, that need be changed.

I have played this course many times. I will say, for the amount they charge (even on Golf Now on a Sunday at 7:30, 50.00) is a bit high considering the course is not in that great of shape. I kow this used to be a fabulous course and there has been a change in ownership etc., so hopefully conditions will improve. Challenging and fun overall.

I hadn't played Adove for some time and really enjoyed getting reacquainted. The links style course is in wonderful shape. The greens roll true.
Definately worth playing again soon!

Given the history of the facility over the past several years I understand the clubhouse situation. However, the golf/social experience would improve significantly if they could get the club house back in operation (i.e. 19th hole, food & beverage, pro shop, etc.).

I enjoyed the course. My only major complaint was one of the holes has a blind tee off where if you overhit it wrt distance you end up in a hazard you had no idea was there. Then they make you thread the needle between trees and over water to get on to the green. Sort of overkill.

We played as a threesome on Sunday and I expected that pace of play would be slow as per usual but was pleasantly surprised to have the entire day go at a perfect pace..the preceding 4 some would be just finishing their second shot each time we came up to the tee so very little waiting which I loved. Course was challenging for me but I don't know what a better golfer would think. Small bucket of range balls for 4$ was a great value. Greens were in good condition and offered some interesting shapes. Some of the bunkers had actual sand in them! A first for me in Nor cal where putting sand in the bunkers seems to be beyond the reach of most courses I play on (you know who you are!). at $35 a great value.

Nice 18 hole course rclose to town in Petaluma. Plays about average length which makes it a quick course for 18. A few challenging holes and also some generous fairways with rough that is actually playable. Everything is well taken care of.

Course was in good shape given the lack of water in the area. Play was real slow.

Haven't played Adobe in a while. The greens were as good as I've ever seen them, especially 13 and 14. They were fast, pretty true...

The long grass just off some of the fairways did slow our round while we, or those in front of us were looking for balls that may have missed the fairway or greeen by only 10 yards or so. That could really slow things up on busy days.

There's still no real food service here which is a shame being that the clubhouse sits empty.

The staff is nice, and the greens are very well kept, but everything else is not up to par. The fairways are filled with rock hard patches of dirt that are nearly impossible to hit a clean shot out of it, and for the money, I could easily play one of the nicer courses in the area. I will not play this course anytime soon.

Course was in good shape and played in 4 hours with several groups of 4 ahead of us. Rough need some mowing but that was scheduled for Wednesday. Bunkers have lots of small rocks in them and need some upkeep.

Disappointed with conditions, they have had ample time to get this course better, they paid a cheap price for this course and haven't done much to improve it

Awesome day at Adobe Creek with the exception of the twosome in front of us. All of a sudden on the 10th hole another single (walker) came on. It then became very slow, but the course is delightful.

Course is in great condition. ..the greens are in perfect shape. Pro shop is a tiny trailer, but who cares. .course in great shape

Pace of play was maddeningly slow due to failure to combine singles and groups by marshall. The course is in excellent condition, but the sand/seed containers were empty, so no opportunity to repair divots (and anticipate course will deteriorate as a result). Players were very remiss in repairing ball marks on the greens. It's about time that the clubhouse is re-opened and this excellent course grows up to its former excellence. 9-hole options would be appreciated.

Always play here when I have had a long layoff from golf. Forgiving course but fun to play and it is kept up very well.

Great course....wide open fairways, but you need to hit your irons well to score low...greens can be tough

Greens are in pretty good shape but the fairways' grass are getting a bit thin. We are in a drought after all. No food at course other than water, sodas and snack bars. pace of play is usually good to very good but what do marshals do anywhere these days.I love playing here. very good design. Can be challenging, especially on approach. very good value.
