Actually I was quite offended by the story as to infer that there is something wrong with the club. The course at Tijuana Country Club was designed by Allister MacKenzie who also designed Augusta with Bobby Jones. The course is beautiful with manicured greens, lush fairways, a challenging hillside location and a very warm and hoispitable staff. Just ask any of the hundreds of gringos who make the trip across the border every week to play this fantastic course and save a lot of $$$ over other San Diego courses. Their website is:
