a golfers friendly course
Always have fun playing here. From the golf shop staff to the risk reward holes it sure makes for an always interesting round.
Fun
This is the place to go to have a fun low key round
Great Value
My favorite course in the area by far. They run a smooth operation and the staff is great. Can't find a better course for the money in the area.
fun & comfortable
ive always considered san bernadino to have a very laid back, easy on the body course.after a round,i have the stamina to play another round if I choose. the green are golfer friendly, and you have to hit your putts aggressively.
great time for great price
$20 can't beat the price. Played 36 holes. All you can play. lot of trees makes it a Lil challengnge. I play weekly
Play
This is an old course but it fun to play. Wide open fairways and lots of hazards. The staff is great and willing to make your experience pleasurable. My only complaint is some of the trees need to be trimed.
This course is definitely worth the money
This course is definitely worth the money especially if you can get a good deal on golf now which they always have. If I could rate this course for it's overall condition I'd give it a 6 the greens were perfect the fairways need substantial work. They have a ton of trees they can either kill you or help you! It's a pretty fun course to play!
can't beat the price
Well worth the money to play here, the greens are in great shape, the fairways are fairly nice as well. Will definately play there again.
Great course,if you liked to be harassed
I had an amazing deal on golfnow.com to play 18 holes with a cart for 14.50, tee time was set at 11:22am. I arrived 15 minutes early. I get to the starter to check in, and that's when it started. The part owner of the course tells me that my group already teed off, I told him that I was a solo player,he responded that my deal online was with 3 other people and that I should of gotten to the course earlier,as you can imagine, I was perplexed by what he had told me. I responded that I was early and had no idea what he was talking about, after an awkward minute or so,he says go ahead,he gave me the key to the cart,so I preceeded to the cart when he bangs on the window and he signals for me to come back inside the club house. So I do, long story short, he tells me that he is going to pair me up with another single player, I tell him no problem, but he says that we have to share the cart since I was free any ways. Again I was perplexed, I did pay my green fee,I told him that and he responded that I was free according to him since I went through golfnow.com. I told him that my tee time was for 18 holes and a cart, not a shared cart. So this went on for a few more awkward minutes, he told me that if I wanted to ride solo, that I needed to give him an extra 10 bucks, I told him that I would NOT do that and walked out of the clubhouse, to my cart and preceeded to the 1st tee. Apparently he had told the other single that he would have his own cart,so at this point everything worked out, me and single player met up on the 1st tee, chopping it up, waiting on the foursome in front of us, when out of no where the clubhouse starter(the same guy who told me that he was part owner, the same guy who was giving me attitude) came out to the 1st tee and told me that next time,I will pay the 10 bucks for the cart, that he was making an exception. Wow,I have never been treated this way at a golf course or anywhere else. I will definitely not be going back to this course. Awful customer service
Good times in Apple valley
Good golf course and just good company the course was in good condition and maintain
San bernardino Golf Course
Course is getting better but during the winter the fairways are pretty thin. 18 dollars for all day play though was great.
San bernardino
Course needs help!!! Fairways were terrible and greens were soaked.
Good for the price
FIrst time on the course. $18 after 12 so the price was very good. Greens average. Fairways were very poor. Weeds, bare dirt, and a little bermuda and lots of what I would call crab grass .. hard to tell. Layout was fine. Again, for the money a good deal. Just don't expect a lot on course condition.
Overall
For the price you cannot go wrong with the golf course the pace is fairly slow Lotta people on golf course, the food is really good but priced fairly high if you have five hours to span it's worth the money
the course was pretty good shape
Course In Very Good shape..Enjoyed playing. Service was great. Price even better.wish I lived closer.
Black Friday
Pace of play was very slow. Had to wait before early hole. The staff said Black Friday is the busiest day of the year.
Windy day
The course is perfect right now! But that Sunday was a windy one! Hurt the score!
Not a Marshal in sight
I have golfed this course several times in the past. The course is usually in fair condition. This is a good choice for a beginner to intermediate golfer. Recently, the course has been promoting unlimited golf for $18 starting at noon. The word "unlimited" must mean anything goes!
The rate of play was terrible. There was a foursome (fivesome if you count the infant in a car seat) They only had two sets of clubs between them. They took their time sharing clubs bringing the baby and car seat on the greens, They were having quite a party. Thank god they finally left! I'm thinking the baby had enough.
The next group was a fivesome in three carts. I have golfed fivesomes in the past. I am aware of the extra body and police our group to keep up with the pace of play. This group was taking 10-15 minutes just to get off the tee box. They would take their time taking multiple shots from the same spot giving no thought people were waiting and the sun was going down. Once they reached the green it was time to hoot, holler and high five!
I eventually met a marshal waiting for the 17th tee box. I explained the conditions we had endured. The marshal was very polite and apologized. He explained the course has cut the price and the marshals...
Just beware of this deal, It is a good value for the money. However, your will experience more of a miniature golf atmosphere then golf.
Great price.
18 for 18 bucks after 12 noon was a good deal for a nice course.
