Boulder Oaks (formerly Meadow Lake Golf Club) in Escondido has a scenic location that offers stunning panoramic views of the San Bernardino and San Jacinto Mountains. The course meanders across rolling hills dappled with century-old oak trees. In addition to the towering trees that shade the fairways, native chaparral and impressive boulders edge the rough and fairways. You'll come across several blind shots and a variety of elevation changes, making the golf course especially tricky if it's your first time. There are some challenging holes in store but mid and high handicappers will still be able to enjoy the course. It's a layout that will test not only your skills but your decision-making abilities.
