The Golf Club at Glen Ivy
Situated next to the Cleveland National Forest, the Golf Club at Glen Ivy winds across canyons and sloping hillsides and through groves of citrus trees. Thanks to the mountainous terrain, several uphill approaches and uneven lies can be found throughout the course. The layout also has rolling fairways and the wind definitely comes into play, but the more challenging elements are balanced by generous landing areas that are welcoming to beginners. The diverse layout is made even more approachable to a range of skill levels with four sets of tees. The golf course finishes with its signature hole, a scenic par 4 that offers an unrivaled view. The hole features a vertical drop of 200 feet from the tee to the landing area, making it the highest drop of any hole in the country. The second shot at Glen Ivy is from an elevated fairway to a green that is protected on the left by a lake.
