Worth a second look: The natural beauty of San Vicente Resort in Ramona, near San Diego
RAMONA, Calif. -- One of the more scenic golf courses in the San Diego area, the Ted Robinson-designed San Vicente Resort is a nice escape from city life. Located in the rolling hills of Ramona, each hole is unique. The 6,633-yard course features plenty of elevation changes, excellent greens and a number of water hazards and bunkers.
Most recently, the course has undergone several changes, notably new water hazards that not only add to the challenge and scenery of the course but also help the course manage its water resources better.
San Vicente Resort also features excellent practice facilities, and lessons are available. Additionally, the resort offers accommodations and golf packages.
