Desert Willow Golf Club's Mountain View Course near Palm Springs
Desert Willow Golf Club offers municipal golf courses in Palm Desert with anything but municipal conditions. In fact, word of mouth has helped make this two-course complex of very-green greens a virtual must-play in the Palm Springs area. Mountain View is often thought of as the second course, behind the much more showy Firecliff Course. There's no question that Mountain View is easier for average golfers.
This is a desert course that doesn't go out of its way to beat hackers up. You'll find some wide fairways. There are water clears, but most of those come with bailout areas. All the while, you get the mountains looming overhead and good views.
