- Affordable, uncrowded, nice greens, by the beach frequently windy, flat and fair, fun course! Clubhouse, shop with great prices too! Open to public by calling and filling out access form in advance (805) 982-2620! Great staff too! Hope this helps~Fun Course. Not overly challenging but a perfect place to practice your game. Usually extremely uncrowded, especially on weekdays. I love this place. I've been there alone and had as much time as I needed to enjoy a day of golfing. Great rates. Great staff. Beautifully kept up with greens that are fast for a place so quiet. Nice club house with good food and good beer prices. Just a great place to enjoy a day of golfing. Walking is perfect but carts allow plenty of time to relax and enjoy the day. Cant say enough about the fun to be had here for golfers of all levels.This course is fantastic for the average golfer. There is a mix of challenging holes, and fairly easy holes. Every hole is actually within reach in regulation (except for that monster par 5 on the back), as oppossed to some of these other courses that are basically impossible to reach in 2 (par 4s) for golfers like me. The course is in great condition. I played Super Twighlight 3 straight days and got in 10-12 holes each time, for $5 walking. Fun, quiet course.I agree with Ron. Everything he said is right on. What he left out is that if your a player this is a perfect place to hide out and work on your game. And the best part is, that it's a military course, so there is no rift raft. They don't let them in. I crack up because everytime I mention Seabee everybody says Simi? back to me. Umm, no... Seabee is a jem that people just drive on by and they are missing out big time. And very reasonably priced.I golfed there twice and for the price it's not bad. Terrain is flat, but it's a nice easy course for my wife of one round to learn from. The greens are excellent and since it is an easy course and the challenges are few there was no one behind us. We were able to take our time and hit several shots.
