Good value for your buck!
The greens were in excellent shape and overall, a great value for your buck.
No water stations
Bay Area was experiencing oppressive heat that weekend. No water stations were provided throughout the course. For $50 I expected better amenities.
Beautiful Day Golfing
Start time was delayed due to tournament. Staff.was courteous and explained situation. Once we got started, everything was good.
Good place to calibrate your swing!
It's a very nice place to play golf on this place, people are very nice from Customer service to the marshals. A little bit to crowded but it's a fast place to play. You can practice your swing and used all your clubs on this golf course. It's very good for all ages because the course are flat and well maintained fairways. I will recommend this place to my friends and family.
Poor experience/not worth the money
I did not have a good time at this course. The rate of play was extremely slow and we jumped 3 groups. There was no Marshall to help increase the rate of play as well. There was also a lack of etiquette on top of slow play. Other golfers were loud, yelled consistently during back swings and two balls hit our cart and one landed 10 feet from me. To top it all off it is right next to an airport that had planes, jets and helicopters taking off every 15 minutes for the full 6 hours. Staff was friendly and the course conditions were fiar.
Absentee marshalls
No Marshalls on duty on a Saturday is terrible .
Confusion at the hole one tee box. Tee time wasn't observed without the Marshall on hole one. Four group backed up atbhole 11. Otherwise it's a nice course.
Great value for a course worth playing!
I have played this course many times because of the great "golf now" rates, very affordable and good tee times! The course has plenty of challenging holes, but is good for all levels of players
Skywest is in vry good shape!
I've played SkyWest many times over the years but this was my first round since winter when it was very soggy. Course is in very good shape and tee boxes, greens and fairways were very good (greens were slow but all were consistent) pace of play was good 4.5 hours for a Saturday morning - my only areas for improvement is the sand traps - very hard - not a lot of sand...
A place to play !!
Nice course, fast greens semi challenging. I'll be back definitely!!
Great local course for the price.
This course is in great condition and the staff are friendly and helpful.
Good Course Condition
Played the day after the charity golf tournament. Therefore, the course was in good condition, since it was evident that the course was well prepared for the tournament. The greens were groom and rolled providing uniform pace and/rolls.
Fun course if you're consistent with the long game. Holes can play long from the tips. Pretty straight forward, slight dog legs right and left here and there. Most fairways are pretty wide, but lined with nice tall trees. Misses left and right can be somewhat forgiving, granted you don't mind hitting from another fairway. Greens at the time were a bit bumpy from aeration, but should be good by now (grown, but not quite rolled). Certain tee boxes felt soft underneath, but expected from all the rain from January-March this year. Pace was a bit slow for a solo, but can't complain too much playing twilight hours and rates.
Course is nearby the Hayward Executive Airport, so occasional planes taking off and landing. Nice hanger bays with a few WW2 fighter planes. Friendly staff at the pro shop and bar.
