course value
as always excellent shape and best value in the valley
Cool June Friday
Went out early Friday with cloud cover and low 90’s in the middle of June. Very few people out. Played in 2 hours and 40 mins. Awesome
Good Fun
Played 36 the other day. This is a nice layout. These people know to take care of there course. Greens were superb, the bunkers have plenty of sand, fairways were fine, and even the rough was well kept . Challenging enough even for the claimed single digit handicapper IMO. Despite105 deg forecast, it didn't feel that hot. Staff was super friendly/accommodating. Great place to get away for the day (drive from San Diego was easy and scenic) or a couple days. There open every day in June and from Thurs - Sund thru August. We appreciate you stating open for the summer. Great golf for the price.
Great course
Borrego Springs course was in great condition and the pace of play was fantastic, no waiting. The restaurant has fabulous food and the people are very friendly. Great deal for the money!
our goal is to provide an excellent golf course and great service to all of our guests. Thank you for your kind words. Please call the shop for your bounce back coupon.

Great out of the way spot in the desert
My wife and I spend a few days in Borrego Springs in late April after the majority of the tourists and snowbirds go home. We played three days in the late morning/early afternoon and nearly had the course to ourselves. There are a variety of tees for varying abilities. Course is well-bunkered but not ridiculous. Course conditions were superb. Practice area includes a driving range, 2 putting greens and a nice short game area. We loved it!
We appreciate your kind words and look forward to seeing you again in the future.

First time at Borrego Springs Resort
Even though the wind was blowing between 15/20 mph the course conditions and play-ability of the course made it fun and fare. We played the white tees (men's forward), approximately 5,600 yards, if you want more of a challenge you can go all the way back to 7,000 yards.
The greens were perfect, soft enough to allow an approach shot to bite yet fast enough to get your attention when putting.
Some of the par 4's and 5's required a blind tee shot but other than that the course layout is pretty much right in front of you.
Can't wait to get back to the Borrego Springs Resort, highly recommend it.
We are excited that your first visit was a pleasant one and look forward to having you come back again soon.

Big value
Very nice course for the money. Pace of play was a bit slow. Course was in great shape. Going back to play again this week.
Glad you enjoyed the course. We rarely have pace of play issues as our course is very golfer friendly. We will make sure to do a better job in the future in regards to our pace of play.

Love this course!
We were supplied with a cart and cooler containing ice and bottled water. Free range balls are offered which was convenient as we only wanted to hit 10 or 12 balls each anyway. Fine putting and chipping greens for practice. On the course the rough and fairways were appropriately trimmed. Large landing areas for the average golfer's tee shots. Fairway bunkers galore to capture the long hitter's balls and everyone's truly errant shots. Putts roll true on excellent greens. We look forward to returning
course condition
As always course was in perfect condition
The best value in the valley
Worth the drive
Yes it's a bit of a hike.. but the course was fantastic.. rediculous value..
Spend a night play it twice..
Leave a few extra minutes to find it as not very well marked...
Borrego surprise
Played from the whites as I hadn't played this course and it played short and probably a bit easier which allowed me to shoot my best round during my vacation in Palm Springs. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition and perfect weather made it a fun round for my wife and I. Bit of a drive to get here as it is only about 45 miles as the crow flies but 82 miles to drive so need to allow yourself time to get here but course was worth it if only to play it once. Beautiful mountain scenery surrounds you during your play.
SsssssLooooW
Played Borrego Springs for the first time. Staff was friendly and inviting. The layout was average, the fairways and the rough were fine. The greens were like a carpet but were soooo Slow. The pace of play was very slow as well as we had a foursome in front of us that just were not in a hurry. Almost 3 hours for the front 9. They quit after the front and we played the back in 2 hours.
We are sorry to hear about your experience. Your honest feedback will help us to improve our service levels in the future. We hope yo will give us another chance to earn your business. Please call in the golf shop prior to your next visit. 760-767-3330

Very Nice Course .. but a long drive
Surprisingly good course for out in the middle of nowhere. Drive is pretty much 90 mins from the Palm Desert area. For the pricepoint it’s worth the drive once just to play it ... there’s really no service so as long as you’re expecting just to play golf and handle everything yourself, then you’ll enjoy the golf
Great course
Great course, challenging for the low handicapper and fair to the high handicappers in our foursome. Loved the views.
Amazing oasis!
The course is beautiful and impeccably maintained. It’s a classic “desert oasis” style course and they do it very well. I’ve been here many times and the pace is great.
The restaurant does not seem to care, really. We wanted to get a cocktail to begin our day. “2 Bloody Marys. Make them doubles”
We were charged $32 because one Bloody Mary is $8 so a double must logically be $16. There is a huge disconnect between golf and amenities.
