UCLA Women's Golf Improves To Fifth At NCAA Preview
Moffat and Moltke-Leth among Top 10.
Sept. 15, 1999 - The UCLA women's golf team, ranked 22nd in the
preseason MasterCard poll, improved to fifth place after 36 holes in
the NCAA Fall Preview at Crosswater Club in Sunriver, OR.
The Bruins turned in a team score of 298 and stand at 604 after two days of competition. Top-ranked Duke, behind tournament leader Amie Lehman's second round two-under par 70, fired a team score of 293 for a two-round total of 587. Fourth-ranked USC is second at 593, followed by second-ranked Arizona at 596 and No.10 Arizona State at 597.
