Womens Golf Climbs Into the Top 5 of the MasterCard Rankings
Hilary Homeyer breaks into the Top 10
PALO ALTO, Calif. (Oct. 8, 1999) - The Stanford womens golf team is ranked fifth in the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings released on October 6. The Cardinal advanced four positions from their previous ninth place postion in the preseason rankings.

In the individual rankings, junior All-American Hilary Homeyer moved up three positions to seventh, while fellow junior All-American Stephanie Keever dropped out of the Top 10 to No. 11. Keever had previously been ranked sixth.
Stanford will play its second tournament of the season at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at the University of Washington beginning Monday, Oct. 11.
