PALO ALTO, Calif. (Oct. 11, 1999) - The Stanford men's golf team is currently ranked 10th in the nation by Golfweek.com.
In the 1999-2000 season, the Cardinal has two top-five finishes under its belt, including a first place win at the Husky Invitational hosted by Washington, and a third place finish at the Windon Memorial Classic hosted by Northwestern. Against other teams in the top 25, Stanford has beaten seven and lost to two.

After two three-round tournaments, Aragon has a stroke average of 73. He has shot one par round, and three under. His lowest round has been a 69 and his lowest tournament was a 214, both shot at Washington.
Team captain Dusty Brett was just shy of the top 50 individuals, ranked at 52. Brett has a stroke average of 73.2 after two tournaments, and has shot a low round of 70 and a low tournament of 219.
Stanford has a week off before hosting UC Davis on Oct. 20 at the Stanford Golf Course.
