Women's Golf Places Seventh at BYU Invitational

for the Aztecs
SPRINGVILLE, Utah (Sept. 14, 1999) - The San Diego State women's golf team finished seventh in the 16-team BYU Invitational at Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah. The Aztecs had an overall score of 323-311-321(955). The tournament concluded with 18 holes today.
Texas-El Paso won the event with a 54-hole total of 915.
Heather Rollo was the top finisher for SDSU with a score of 81-77-76(234) tying for the 14th spot overall with Ria Quiayon of Cal and Linda Appelblad from of Hawaii. Tying for 17th was SDSU's Joanne Clingan scoring 78-77-80 (235). Newcomer Asa Jankler shot a 77-78-81(236) to tie for 19th.
