Great course
Great course. The only draw back is sometimes the pace of play is slow. It can be a 5+ hour play time. They have marshals but they don't seem to keep the players moving. They need more sand it there sand traps.
Like all the courses in this area they are pricy.
Slow and tight
Course was in good conditions. Pace of play very slow. Tight fairways and houses too close to fairways impacts choice of clubs off tee.
Golfing in the Pines!
It has been a few years since I had played Plumas Pines. It was a pleasant surprise to see how well maintained the course has been. My buddy and I had such a great time on the first 18 that we played another 9! We had forgotten how beautiful this course is with its towering mountain side views and many water features. It was a joy to play. Challenging enough to keep your honest attention and playable enough to be rewarded with a good shot execution. We stopped and had a bite to eat between rounds and the food and service was fabulous! We will go back soon!
wonderful!
It was my wife's and my first time at the course. It was beautiful and challenging. The staff was great! I cannot wait to return. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Dave and Joy Soares
Plumas Pines
great rate on GolfNow and worth it - the staff is great, course was/is in great shape, and the food in Longboards is excellent as is the wait-staff.
Range is off matts and not really an easy judge of getting your distances down since the range is hitting straight downhill, but the course is beautiful.
Great course, great location, great time
Outstanding views and just a great golf course. We loved it.
Fun Course to play.
Was disappointed with the condition of the greens-they were sanded that day or the day before and the driving range was closed. I understand the need for sanding the greens and picking up the range balls however cleaning the range should be done on Monday morning not on Wednesday morning.
These is a great course try it out great shape
Play time was good course is in great shape thanks MARK and crew people are very friendly food and drinks very good thanks for a great day on the course with my wife and great friends thanks again steve
Quicky Friday round at Plumas
Had the hot deal plus discount at Plumas today. $20 bucks each with a cart. Too good a deal to pass it up. Nice day, super quick 3 1/2 hour round. Recent rains had the course in just lush conditions. Greens were exceptionally nice. Midweek so no experience with any of the bev/food staff.
Great round of golf
I like the staff here they are helpful friendly and very knowledgeable. golf now is a great value for this course. the course is very well maintained.
M&R
The course in in excellent conditions,
the only problem is that in the afternoon fivesomes are allowed to play and people cut on 13th hole to go back to the clubhouse and it can be slow from on 17 and 18. That said is a beautiful course. We really enjoyed it.
very nice day
Teed off on time, played at a steady pace. Cart girl was around at least 6 times durning the round. Greens were around 11.5 and true. Nice to see players repair the ball marks and rake the traps. All in all a great day and a good price.
Great Timw
I played with one of the course marshals, Terry. He was a great ambassador of the course. The pace of play is a little slow, but doable. Would like to see a beverage girl on the course during the heat of the day. I always enjoy playing at Plumas Pines.
Excellent shape. Challange
Booked on Golf Now. Great price. Good staff. Course in excellent shape.
Great day
Challenging front nine always! Love playing here it is so beautiful. Have been coming up since it opened .
great course
great course to play when there is wind as it is very protected with all the pine trees
GREAT GOLF DAY
outstanding day of golf AT SCENIC PLUMAS PINES ON A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Beautiful setting
We had to leave after 12 holes. There were 2 fivesomes ahead and play was way too slow. Not good as there were backups on the tee boxes.
Plumas Pines
Tight course, very pretty biggest complaint is a tree in front of the last par 3 can really ruin a beautiful shot. The sand traps could have used more sand, they were pretty hard. All and all very nice course, very pretty, nice staff, nice complex well worth the drive from Reno for a treat.
Loved it
First time here, we will go back for sure, course is very well laid out to be challenging but not too challenging. Beautiful setting and area. One of our new favorites.
