Spyglass Hill GC

PEBBLE BEACH – Sacramento Realty GC's team of Michael Baldwin, Wayne Burd, Bill Carbary and Robert Heaphy lapped the field in the final round to win the NCGA's Associate Club Championship at Spyglass Hill GC.

Sacramento Realty, which came into the final round with a one-shot lead, carded an astounding 22-under-par 122 (best two net scores out of four on each hole) to win the tournament by 11 shots.

Rolmex GC of San Jose's team of Jeff Huehn, Kent Peacock, Dan Flood and Glen Riley needed one extra hole to earn its runner-up honor. Rolmex and Golden Bay GC of Walnut Creek (Bill Blastic, Clark Jordan, Donovan Curry and Butch Harrison) each shot 261 in regulation, but Rolmex got the edge on the first playoff hole.
