Valley Zone at Spyglass Hill

Spyglass Hill GC & Poppy Hills GC

PEBBLE BEACH – Swenson Park GC's team of Gary Ward, Jim White, Craig Moradian and Ed Tofanelli made a big lead even bigger in winning the NCGA's North Valley Zone at Spyglass Hill GC by 14 shots.

Swenson Park, who opened with a 117 at Poppy Hills GC, shot 124 at Spyglass Hill to win going away. La Contenta GC's team of Steve Ohlrich, Gary Stepansky, Fred Muller and Tom Muller finished second with a 255.

Both teams return to Spyglass Hill for the Zone Championship on Aug. 30-31.
