Four-Ball Net Championship
PEBBLE BEACH (Oct. 26, 1999) Bill Hardin and Vincent Massaro of Chevron Richmond GC put together a 13-under-par 59 in the final round to win the NCGA's Associate Club Four-Ball Net Championship at Poppy Hills GC.
It was the second win in a row for Chevron Richmond and Hardin, who teamed with Joe Vuica to win last year's title. Maureen Earley and Dean Garrison of Rolmex GC, who were tied for the first-round lead at 61, shot a 64 to finish second. Jerry Nobis and Wayne Young of Koaches GC finished third with a closing 65.
The format for the event takes the net best score of each two-player team on each hole.
