Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West
LA QUINTA, Calif. -- Perhaps a little tamer than the nearby Stadium Course at PGA West, the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course offers plenty of challenge on its own. With elevated tees and plenty of forced carries over water, Nicklaus also added his signature multi-tiered bentgrass greens to add to the fun when it comes time to putt.
The golf course has hosted the Grand Slam of Golf, Wendy's Three Tour Challenge and has been a perennial host to the PGA's Tour Qualifying School. It features contoured fairways, undulating greens and deep sand bunkers. With five sets of tees, this par 72 can be stretched to more than 7,200 yards.
