North/South at Royal Vista Golf Club

Royal Vista Golf Club boasts 27 holes that sprawl across Walnut's rolling hills. Divided into the North, South, and East nines, the holes are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Although they share the same landscape of mature trees, ponds, and lakes, each nine offers something different. The North/South combination provides a variety of elevation changes thanks to the mountainous terrain. It is difficult to find a flat area anywhere on this golf course. The traditional layout features small, undulating greens and mostly wide-open fairways, but there are some narrower ones to watch out for. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but the strategically placed bunkers that treacherously lurk beside the greens present a more formidable challenge. The course has a few tricky holes but overall it is approachable enough for players of all skill levels.
