Update
A couple weeks ago I drove up to Three Rivers only to find the gate locked and a closed for the season sign. I submitted a review which is not showing for whatever reason (I have yet to have a review post in the 72 hours quoted). I just viewed their face-book page and they have "Status; May Be Permanently Closed" posted. Shame as this was a fun nine hole shorty in the foothills. Hope they come back.

Nice setting along the Kern River surrounded by hills.
Three Rivers Golf Course is a good course for the price you pay, but needs some work around the greens and in the bunkers. The course stays relatively green throughout the year as is in okay condition. I'm pretty sure this course has been closed for awhile it looks like for maintenance, but no one answers the phone when I call
