Whitney Oaks Golf Club
2305 Clubhouse DrWhitney Oaks Golf Club in Rocklin sits just half an hour from Sacramento but the stunning landscape blanketed with thousands of live oaks feels much more secluded. In addition to the trees, massive granite outcroppings accent the course. It is both a visually stunning and formidable championship layout. The diverse topography is the focus, providing many challenges with the elevation changes and towering trees that line the narrow fairways. The rolling topography helped to determine the placement of the bunkers. Wetlands come into play throughout the golf course, also serving as home to numerous varieties of indigenous wildlife. The golf course finishes with a tough hole, a long par 5 that is flanked by wetlands on both the left and right. Whitney Oaks G.C. also has a practice facility with a 15-station driving range, a putting green, and pitching area.
