Tucked away in the Pittsburg foothills, Delta View Golf Club offers exactly what its name implies, beautiful views of the Delta as well as Mount Diablo in the background. The course originally opened as a nine-hole layout in 1947 but it was lengthened to an 18-hole course in 1991. The rolling terrain allows for elevated tees and undulating greens that make it feel longer than the 6,317 yards indicated on the scorecard. The numerous dogleg fairways and abundance of mature trees also add to the illusion of length. Delta View Golf Club's signature hole comes halfway through the course on the par-3 ninth. This demanding hole requires a carry over water to a green that slopes from back to front. You can make up for any mistakes on the next hole, a par 4 that offers a good birdie opportunity.

this course is in dire need of serious maintenance.
Course is not in good shape. Needs a ton of work. Greens were nice, but the rest of the course just not worth the time or money. Far too many viable options in a 10 mile radius. Without major upgrades, cannot see ever returning to play
Fun course very difficult at times challenging greens.
Try it fun course! Staff is great, greens well kept, and drivertime!
Fun day of golf
This course is golf friendly for local and good course for the value. Played here few times when other courses are priced on a weekend. Nice day no wind.
A Fair Challenge
This course is in fairly good shape although most of the water hazards were dried up when i played here and the greens were a little bumpy..
I was very surprised how much fun this course was
Course was in great condition lots and lots of interesting holes some water made for a great game of golf. They have been doing a lot of work and you can see where grass has been planted so in a few months the whole course should be very very plush

Delta View rating
I believe the the course was in good shape, after it had rained in the early morning hours. The greens were in very good shape, it was a little slow following 2 groups of 5 players, but still a good day. Thanks
Great value and fun
Delta View is a great value combined with a fun experience. Various elevation changes, doglegs, and unique holes. Par 4s & 5s can be attacked by longer hitters and the 5 par 3s are all different and challenge different parts of your game.
the greens gave been better
I have come from fremont to play the delta- the greens have been better.i think they were a little furry on this day...no cart girl out there either.we were dissappointed at this.
Great value for the difficulty
Most underrated course around this area. Challenging to make you use most clubs in your bag and make you play smart golf. Down the middle is not always the best play and the hole placements when I played added a few strokes for my normal game. I like the number 1 hole for the kinds of trouble you will get into if not hit inside the sweet spot. The 16 hole is the kind of old school challenge demanding a stinger shot for the normal people ( the grove of trees is much deeper than they look fro the T box) that can not hit over the trees and the signature 8th hole for the view of the Bay, and the dream of driving the green on a par 4.
On a bad day other players can make for slow play as there is an over abundance of poorly educated players on the pace of play and proper golf course etiquette, but that is now in normal in most Municipals and not the fault of the management..
For the price you will not find a better or more interesting golf course to play. IMHO
This club also has a grass range, now that is a nice plus.
Fun, relaxed, and great value
Played with a business partner on a Friday morning. We were able to get out early and finish in 4 hours without rushing, waiting, or being pushed. The back 9 greens have a lot of contour, and there are doglegs going both directions throughout. Lots of fun, and great service at the 19th hole, though the hours of operation and bar selection is a bit limited.
great value
I play this course often and I have always had good experience. A person in our foursome had never played this course before and he was amazed that he had never heard anyone recommend this course. Fairway and greens were in good condition. Some sand traps were quite wet. This course now offers 15 inch holes on each green as well.

first time
First time playing course it was a course i will play next time in town. visiting step-son who is close to a scratch player.would recommend this course to anyone it has a little of everything for everyone. and a great view on a few holes
Great course for the price
The course was in good condition and very convenient. The staff was very friendly and the pace of play was excellent. It is the biggest little secret in East Contra Costa County.

Not bad
I've seen it all at delta view as I live 2 minutes away. I enjoy the layout but the wind is true challenge as I can count on one hand how many times I've played it without wind. The greens are pretty good for delta view standards course is pretty good for delta view and more green then surrounding courses. They do have two holes on each green right now one regular and one big hole gimmick. I seen no one play the big hole all day and some people in front not happy with it at all. I'm not a fan of it and see no one playing it but mayb it's for someone out there.
Big hole golf
I absolutely love playing big hole golf and I'm glad this course was willing to take the chance of such an innovation. I know some of the golf "purists" won't like it but I had a blast and I hope they keep it.
