This course has fun terrain and features.
I really enjoy this course. it is usually not too busy and has great elevation and terrain. The greens are fast!
Beautiful scenery was only nice feature
Men in the pro shop treated me like I was invisible. They listened to a gentleman brag about how well he "ripped" his shots on some famous course while I stood there waiting for 10 min to check in. (He btw proceeded to top his ball off the first tee and then blame the golf club for not having a driving range). They didn't have the tee time card for our time to be placed on the cart, so the man in the pro shop told me he would find it and bring it to me...which he never did. I had to ask the guy cleaning the carts to find it for me to be issued a cart. They were completely backed up and running late on tee times. Greens were recently aerated and in terrible shape (which by the way was not indicated on the golfnow website). Cart paths were hideously in need of repaving. No running water in the bathrooms, only hand sanitizer (are you kidding?). It was so slow because they had people packed in too tight. In my opinion a good course is not designed by blind shot after blind shot built on a hill. The par 3's were good. I have never played there and will not return. Completely not worth the money. Thankfully, I took advantage of a discounted price.
Nice corse!
Great location! Nice to play a corse away from civilization, greens need work, they are all a mixture of grasses- no defined fringe area. Great deal with Hot Deals from golf now- probably wouldn't play at regular price though
My golf cart battery died on the 12th hole, then on the 15th hole our 2nd cart battery died. Unacceptable....

This is a jewel of a Golf course.
What a graet Day of Golf.We would play it definitly again.
Amazing surrounding, but needs maintenance
Pro's:
- Amazing scenery
- GPS in carts
- Challenging from the blues, still fun from the whites
- Fast greens
Con's:
- No driving range
- Most fairways and rough areas are burned out and not in good shape
- Tee boxes are beat up and uneven
Given the condition, $85 on the weekend is a little steep. $65 would be more accurate but it's still a fun course.
fun day- staff was very accomodating and the GM was outstanding.
very challenging - front nine, some very narrow holes -made you think alot about your drives - back nine played a little longer but was more open. my wife and i had a great time and the wine cafe was a nice treat after golf.
Could be a Great course
Everything was good but the Course needs a bit more attention. The Fairways in particular are ragged and there ought to be some marshaling for Slow Play. We starte at 11.42 & finished at 4.35pm, I think it wasn't because of too many groups out playing but more so because there was a couple of slow groups.
Great features, Great views
Nestled in a mountain canyon, who would figure there would be one of the best Southern California courses. From the staff at the pro shop to all that work in the cafe, bar, snack shop, this is one you will return to over and over.
The course is beautiful but needs more maintenance
Very Beautiful, well designed and challenging course. However, course is in need of much maintenace. Cart paths need repaiving, greens are very uneven, bunker sand is too compacted in places, and bathrooms should have working wash basins. For the amounts which are charged for green fees these items should be corrected.
great course condition and professional and kind staff members

Fun golf course
Good layout and fun place to place. Greens are the best part of the course. Fast, true and in great condition. Need to be under the holes for most greens.
Challenging greens and length
Greens were in great shape and very tough with speed and break. Course plays long with so many elevated greens Good value at discounted rate.
A great value, beautiful setting, good price.
Great variety of holes, challenging and exciting. Will DEFINITELY play again. In fact, already made a tee time for 1 week later! The course itself was in great shape although the greens were still quite damp at our 0742 tee time. One pitfall: trhe "driving range" (for lack of a better term) is merely a set of 1/2 dozen batting cage style nets, so that was odd. Good chipping/putting greens though.
Tough greens to read!
Loved the course. Fairways were tight and the ball doesn't fly well but a joy to hit from. Tough for 1st time as there is a lot of hidden hazards and tough greens to read where the break looks left but it's not.
No other layout like this course has...
First, the special rate was a great deal. Huge discount offered by Golf Now.
Since I played this course many times starting way back in the early eighties, it has always been a great layout and demanding course management. Greens are kept fast and fairways are in good shape.
Scenic maybe, Golf Course - questionable at best.
From arrival you have a sense of not knowing if you are at a golf course or an office complex. Facilities layout is odd at best, signage requires your full attention. Pro shop staff friendly, efficient. Difficult to identify tee box choice. Nice markers but they lay flat requiring you to crane your neck. Very low end fairway grass. Pace of play OK . No patrolling marshals or beverage carts that one would expect from a so-called higher end course. Never got a sense that we were paying a well-designed or cared for course. Just did not feel like a golf game - a first for us. Post game, tough to find the restaurant and once there, service just missing in action so up and left after 15 minutes. Most certainly will not be back. This place tries to be a decent golf course but the facility planners, designers and course mangagement did not get that message.
Hidden Gem
I have played this course since early 80's. Back then there was a trailer for the starter and the course overgrown. It has improved over the years, everything from course conditions to new club house -amenities . I brought a guest from out of town and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience !
Fun track, good value
Course was fun with substantial elevation changes. Each hole presented different challenges, with spectacular view of the valley. A pleasure to play. Pace of play was brisk, finished within 3 1/2 hours. Great time. However, beware of the greens, extremely difficult!
good course, but cart paths are terrible
course has good greens and fairways. cart paths are a bad layout and terrible condition. great views and elevation changes. Sand and bunker layout good. Best hole I think is #9.
