- This course is far and away the truest test of pure golf SoCal has to offer. It is always in perfect condition. The practice area is second to none. The food in the grill is great and the people are relaxed. The greens are lightning and true. And the wind blows there a lot so you must be a shotmker to score well. La Purisma is as "pure" as it gets.
