Diablo Course at Ridgemark Golf & Country Club

Ridgemark Golf & Country Club has two championship courses, both named after the adjacent mountain ranges, Gabilan and Diablo. Given that they are nestled in the foothills of two different ranges, the courses boast some dramatic terrain and views. Diablo is the shorter of the two, but it is also considered more scenic. The layout has an interesting mix of holes that will appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The seventh and 11th are perfect examples. They are both par 5s, but one, the 11th is reachable in two for most, while the other presents the most formidable challenge on the golf course. The seventh hole begins from a hillside and forces players to carry a barranca nearly 600 yards to a small landing area. The golf course is challenging but it is balanced with a number of great scoring opportunities.
