I've been so lucky to play Yocha Dehe many times. This is by far my favorite course North of Monterey Bay. When I talk to people about this course, they ask me what brings me back so often, and I try to explain to them that almost every hole offers a risk/reward aspect that I have trouble finding at other courses. Do I take on the sand at #8 and try to drive the Par-4? Do I attempt the "shortcut" on the hole by that name (#15), and do I "go for it" on my 2nd shot into 17? Those, and others, are all questions I find myself asking every time I play here. And because you have so many choices, each round is as fresh as it was the first time.

It's a Troon property so I'm assuming I don't even need to speak to the course condition and staff, but I'll just say, both are "top-of-the-line". So yes, it's a bit more expensive than most courses in the area, but it's absolutely well worth it. Their motto is "Play here, play the best"...they've earned that motto.
