Blythe Municipal Golf Course has a beautiful location just 5 miles northwest of Mesa surrounded by mountains and overlooking the Palo Verde Valley. The course features dramatic elevation changes, stretching more than 75 acres across the mesa bluff before dropping more than 200 feet to the valley floor. The course can be intimidating and it will definitely provide a good test but it's more player friendly than it seems. The open fairways are generous though the undulating greens can be tricky, especially since there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. From nearly every hole you'll enjoy an incredible view. Opened in 1968 as a nine-hole layout, Blythe Municipal Golf Course has changed greatly from the original design but it has still garnered a following along the way, attracting visitors from L.A., Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs, and Phoenix.
